(WARNING: Spoiler for an ending) Hello, could you let me know what the name of the song is at the ending 1/3 where Chase catches John and holds him while John is in a yellow "statue" state? And where I could find it? Thank you! The game was great by the way, memorable characters and a unique twist ending :)
aaaa this game was so fantastic n funny!! i can't believe it was made in a month. definitely going into my high favourites :D
spoilers:
- nini and rika are so cute!! <3
- i loved the character sprites and filter textures!! they're so unique
- i think the deaths were really interesting n fun to collect!
- the uno reverse at the end caught me so off guard, haha. but it was oddly satisfying after everything that happened to john :]
- and oh goodness that omegaverse book scene TvT rip booktree's sanity
um, i kinda did run into a few problems tho...
when chase and his ghosts are in the playroom during rika & nini's confession scene, he walks up to chase, blocks his way and then i couldn't move after the cutscene ended so i had to use a previous save file and shoo him out of the room beforehand haha.
also, when chase dies from the clown chair pressing the pink mushrooms, i was able to sorta drag his dead body around until the "bad end" page came up heh!
but these were pretty small things and quite entertaining to experience tbh :))
This game was so good!! Ah, I had a lot of fun with it lmao First of all, the trailer looks super good - I was already hyped to play it! And the puppet-styled into was so cool, too!
Overall, the artwork in the game was as pretty as always *v* All the charas look so interesting and distinct from each other and the map design was super good!!! Especially the playroom(?) x'D I love that big elephant slide lmao
The game mechanic was also very interesting! I have no idea how you implemented it, but having to press a number for a certain action is such a cool idea!
Also, the story was so good! I'm kinda glad to see John again, cuz I did find him interesting in the first game^^ So I went into the game with the mindset "Whatever happens to him here, he probably deserves it"... and in the end, yeah he did x'D It was fun to see him go through the story and not have any chara development at all (The way he didn't even say bye to Lola... She helped me a lot in my playthrough, so it did feel kinda off :'( ) The side quest with Rika and Nini was super cute, too! I really liked both of them a lot hehe
Sorry for my little ramble, but in the end I really enjoyed this game! It had a fun story with even funnier charas, great visuals and interesting gameplay! :3 I even made some fanart, cuz I liked it so much (Tho it's more just doodles xD)

Are you playing on mac? If so, then you're unfortunately better off playing the browser version, because I can't do anything about the mac and linux builds :( My apologies
I think this might be caused by the autosave plugin but I'm not sure. I disabled it now. You'll have to download the mac build again, but if you do, please let me know if it works now :)

I had the feeling from the start that the one in danger was Chase and not John, as soon as I saw him as the MC xD oh boy, now I want a third entry with this crazy fudanshi! I loved his interactions and the comments about BL and webcomics! (I didn't want to give the Omega book to the tree, I thought it would impale me on the spot for that lol) By the way this game is so polished! The graphics, the style, the details of the deaths, the scripted menus (and interactions), it's really impressive! Congratulations, Hatoge >w<
Haha, what can I say; John is just a menace wherever he goes :'D Thank you very much! I wasn't sure how well the paper and pixel aesthetic would match, but I'm quite happy with the outcome :3

I swear as soon as I got the notification that the game dropped I fell of my bed a bruised my lip just to see what it was about
after 1.5 hours of playing and giving each character a voice and cracking jokes ... i realized that i forgot to press the record button ... :D

Ooo, never expected Misfiction to get a sequel! Absolutely loved this game, all the endings were so fitting for a creep like John hehe
