im stuck in the place where fios smartphone is on the drawer after 1 reboot and i cant fid the code for the drawer

im not sure where the code is but im pretty sure i have checked evry singile intreacatible thing

i picked up the present too

nvm

imma figure it out on my own

this problaly isnt a bug or any thing

What's the passcode for the phone I'm so stuck.

if you go to google and search, hatoge code, youll find in near the bottom

What's the padcode number

The padcode is 1989

I'm stuck in the train :/ when i get out there's a loading screen that loads forever and I can't do anything :(

Hello! Can you please give me some more information on this issue? Does this happen in the browser version or the downloaded one? What day does this happen?

the downloaded version on the first day

I tried cutting most of this segment out of the game, which in theory should solve the problem you've been facing. If you redownload the game and play until then, please let me know if it works. Sorry for the inconvenience!

HJKDASJKFSDL I LOVED THIS GAME SO MUCH

(1 edit)

How do i unlock that hidden code on the wall closer to fios room? i have alredy finished all the 8 endings and i have no clue about this one.

oh this is just the debug menu in case you run into an error (which I have probably solved at this point, so you shouldn't run into it anymore, anyway). If you completed all endings, then you don't need to worry about it. No extra content to be found there :)

hi, i rlly want to keep playing the game but whenever i load on the train after waking up crow isn't there and i can move to the next car but it just produces like an infinite loading screen. any idea how to fix this? i've reloaded the game several times and even restarted my computer but still nothing :(

Deleted 3 years ago

Posted a new build that hopefully fixed this issue.  If you redownload the game, please let me know if it works now. Sorry for the inconvenience!

the problem is still there for me unfortunately :( i re-installed and also re-downloaded the game, but nothing. i'm playing on mac, if that helps any

ah, that makes sense. The game is build for windows, so I'm surprised it works at all on mac. I can post a build for mac, but if that doesn't work either there is nothing I can do since I don't own a mac ^^"

ah, i downloaded windows 10 onto my mac and was shocked to see that there's a little intro sequence after you find fio on the first night! i'm not sure if that would help with the mac build in any way but since it's working on windows for me i'm excited to finally be able to play it!

how do you find the code for the padlock- and the sparkle on the books wont go away even if i read it- help-

(+3)

The code for the padlock is inside the book. Anything that is necessary to progress the story will have a sparkle on it until you no longer need it.

(+1)

Hihi! I'm under 17, but I believe I can handle these topics. Am I able to play?

As long as you are okay with everything inside the content warning.

(+3)

There is no software that will detect your age and disable you from playing nor will you face any legal repercussions, however please understand that I can not legally give you my blessings to play the game nor do I take any responsibility for anyone disregarding the age label or content warnings. Do with this information whatever you wish.

i'm stuck on the train

Can you please tell me more about this problem you've run into? It appears somebody else is having similar issues and I would like some more details, so I can see if I can resolve it :)

Well, I played and absolutely adored Ouija Sleepover (which, in turn, turned out to be one of my most viewed videos ever, so that's awesome), so of course I had to check this one out when I learned about it.

I do really like a lot of what  I see here. The art is nice, obviously, characters are interesting, and it's a neat spin on the whole cycle thing you see in horror games. Not to mention the various puzzles are fairly simple to understand and find within context given in the game, rather than getting as obtuse as some RPGMaker puzzles do.

That said, I gotta admit I enjoyed Ouija Sleepover more, and it might have to do with me finding this game's story a tiny bit unclear. It's totally possible that I just misunderstood stuff, but I just don't see myself playing the full thing through to try every combination of interactions with Fio / opening the box to make sense of it all, and one ending I got felt oddly disconnected from the story itself - to me, at least.

Don't take this as the game not being high quality. It's good, DAMN good as can be expected from Hatoge - but I certainly did prefer the former game. Still, absolutely gonna be in line to play the next one, no question about it.

:0

I finished the entire game in one go and honestly, I loved it so much. I loved the mystery, the suspense, but also the way we got to know and understand the relationship between the main characters, and feel deeply for them. And the endings! So different, so unique, and all so enjoyable! I also never encountered any technical problems at all while playing, it was all extremely smooth. I will be sure to keep an eye on more of your works!! Thank you so much for sharing this game with us all!

Thank you! I'm glad you got so much out of the game. :)

Amazing job

Alright so I played the browser version and got "uncaught type error: cannot read property 'width' of null" after the water puzzle, and so I read the comments, downloaded the game, but the exact same thing happened there too.

I might have figured out what is causing this kind of bug and am currently testing a new version which will go these next few days. Sorry for the inconvinience!

really interesting game!

At the very end, I received an ominous message referencing a white room and the code '20082020'. Does anyone happen to know where and what this is?

Gotcha, thanks!

are these errors apart of the game or is there glitches

(-1)

They are not a part of the game. Please reference 'debug.txt'

Finally got around to playing this game. Absolutely loved this. Definitely one of my new favorites.

how do you finish the third chapter

ending

(+1)

Such an amazing job. I enjoyed every second playing this game. I can see all the effort that you have putted in to the game. I hope I get to play other games from you in the future. Keep the good work up and never stop!

Great game! One issue though, I kept having issues with the loading screen. When it first started and we arrive at his house and he says to "make yourself at home", I tried to go into the room next to the shoe rack and I waited 20 MINUTES! it would not load, had to reload the page. Also, if you press continue but you have no saves... you can't exit!

Edit: Was playing the game again aiming for another ending and I accidentally clicked the front door as soon as we arrive and he stops talking and... error screen. Have to reload and sit through the text message scene again. :(

(1 edit)

What version are you playing? Edit: Also did you click on the front door before you were supposed to move or afterwards?

After. Great game btw!!

THIS GAME IS AMAZING!! i just finished all of the endings and i'm amazed at how fantastic it is!! :)

WARNING! THERE MAY BE SPOILERS IN MY COMMENT! I just wanted to ask a question about the plot itself. I've been thinking about it for days. Anyway, let's get to the point. So I got 8th ending and it confused me so much. Like how is he alive? Sofia said the original one was killed a long time ago and the last "clone" was killed just before our eyes. So I had 3 theories. Number 1: Sofia lied and original fio is in the pot just like crow. 2 This is also a "clone". But I don't see how it's possible... The last one was killed and Sofia didn't make another ones, did she? 3. It has to do smth with fio's mother wanting to genetically fix fio. Although there wasn't much info about it, so I can't be sure. I don't mind to bother you and I am not even sure I'll get an answer, but if you don't mind, could you at least tell me, was the original fio the one who died in the first night? Or is it explained in other endings? (I didn't see them all. Couldn't stand an idea of seeing fio dying even more. But if it's what I have to do to find answers, I am ready to make that sacrifice haha). Also, thanks for the game!

anyone know feios pasword?

(+1)

not entirely sure if you're at the part I think you're at, but when you first need to open Fio's phone, the code is: 2310. it's the first date, and when you look at the calender it says the anniversary, and it's one month so you just subract one from four yk yk. i downloaded the walkthrough (it's free, btw), and it helped a lot. Sorry if the reply's late and you figured it out!

(+1)

thanks i did end up figuring it out but regardless thanks a bunch!

no problem! I'm glad you figured it out!! :D

(+3)

i love the music!!!!!!!!! and the story is so cool!!!! the game right now 90000000000000000000/10!!

I'm stuck! I have the A 1702 code. I cannot figure out Fio's pin code. Should I download the extended edition?

(1 edit) (+2)

same here... i have tried for about half an hour...cant figure it out. plz help! i tried the code in the room with the mirror and the one on the calender. am i doing something wrong? plz help.

(+7)

the second part of the code is in the folder :)

which one is the first part… is that why it says A 1703?

(1 edit)

The code for the drawer is 1702017. A 1702 and B 017. For Fio's phone, it's 2310. Hope this helps!

(+1)

thanks lol about 2 hours before u texted i just figured it out… thanks for the tip. i was reading the calender wrong thinking it was 2410 when it was actually 2310 and then i got the the drawer lock. thanks for the tip! Amazing game. reminds me of undertale lol!

(1 edit) (+2)

what about the padlock? I can't get through :( (none of the codes worked btw) edit: the tut told me to look at the calendar but I already looked and I think you can only look at it one time bcz it won't let me look at it no matter what I do!

Oml, so cute

I LOVE THIS GAME PERIOD. I love the aesthetics, the story, and the cute sprites for the characters along with the art! And Fio is absolutely adorable! I want to buy the extended content but if I buy it will it unlock without me having to download the game? I unfortunately use a chromebook and had to play it on the browser- so would it be playable and viewable on the browser version if I bought the extended version?

Hello! Thank you very much for your kind words! Unfortunately, the extended edition is only playable through download and on windows, I'm sorry :'(

(+1)

awesome game!! 10/10, will 100% be playing this one over over again :)

I really enjoyed this. It was well written and had a very interesting plot that kept me interested all the way through. Keep up the good work!

Did you release the Soundtrack pleeeeeease? IT'S AWESOME

PS: Nice game, mate

90% of the soundtrack isn't by me! Amost all the music I used can be found on maou.audio, PlayOnLoop.com and the rpgmaker dlc by Joel Steudler . The creepy music is by Steudler (the bg music for the later nights and the bad endings), the more orchestral + piano stuff is from maou.audio. (opening song, the flashbacks and most of the other endings) Hope that helps :)

hello! as i can't download the game because i have mac, not windows, I can't get past the error of the door next to fio's room: $dataMap is null.

but to what i could play this is amazing! i love it so much and i'm very interested in translating it to spanish, but i don't know if it's possible due to this game being developed on windows.

send me an e-mail about the translating thing and maybe when the error in browser is fixed too, please! <3 yurijabecausenot@gmail.com

I'll look into it; until then you can skip that passage by entering the debug menu. To enter the debug menu you have to interact with the corner next to Fios room and input: 4632916. Out of the two options choose '2'. This wille give you the item you would have received in the bugged room. (The item then has to be used with a lightsource) Sorry for the inconvenience! As for a translation; I feel like I'll be busy with bug fixing for a bit longer, so until then I'd rather not have any translations. I will contact you once I am ready to accep them. :) (No pressure if you lost interest by then of course.)

hello again i'm now emotionally attached to this game  I JUST FINISHED THE 8 ENDINGS I'M CRYING PAY MY THERAPIST HATOGE!!  /nm

ps: my career is focused on languages, so that includes translation in my passions, believe me, i won't lose interest! take your time and good luck~

I LOVE THIS GAME!

it took me a while to beat all the endings and to try to beg 2 dollars for the extended endings but in the end it was worth it!

i loved all the twists and the characters, the environment and sound and most importantly the story.

i was shocked, sad and happy from and between the diff endings

thank you for making this wonderful piece of a game and i look forward to play more games from you!

Edit: somethings in the game hit really close to home, i really dont know how to explain them but i related to fio's character alot, there are a ton of stuff that i want to talk about but i dont want to spoil it for those that havent played it (please do play it!!!)

Aw thank you so much! I'm glad you enjoyed it and got so much out of it :)

thank YOU for making this game, i always expected less from rpg games but this game might have changed my mind.

hopefully i can see more games with this level of storytelling!

(spoiler warning)

did anyone manage to open the door next to the keycard door? i've been trying to figure out if its even possible

The door cannot be opened in the standard edition :)

Thank you for answering, your game is amazing <3

This is an epic, yet somewhat sad, story. I've had similar ideas to his in the past but you've executed it very spectacularly. I hope not to give anything away with my comments... but the two endings I got were quite rewarding in their own way. The first happened by going back to bed, which I found funny for some reason. Just ignoring your problems, in a way. The second was what I consider one of the true endings. It was sweet and cute and strangely uplifting. I kept thinking Fio was short for Sofia and that was the big reveal... glad it wasn't, however~ I was not quite expecting the ending, either.

All in all, a great game that I am happy to replay for different endings. I'd love to buy the game when I have more funds, and when I finish all that the browser option has to offer. Until then, I'll enjoy the browser version and what it has to offer. Thank you very much, Hatoge, for this gem of a game!

Thank you so much for your kind words! If you do end up playing the other ends I would love an edit to your review to know your thoughts :)

As of right now, I just got what I will call "the continuation ending." It's basically a complete 180 of the other ending I got. I like how they differ based on what you do, or don't do, throughout the day.

As a side note, I still don't know what to do with one of the items... near the very end you get some item wrapped in cloth I think it was? I tried using it just about everywhere and yet it never seemed to do anything. I carried it with me to the end, in my first playthrough, but I never found a use for it. Is it a useless item or am I just missing something?

(+1)

The wrapped item is only useful for the final room! You get a different ending depending on if you have it with you or not :) (It is the pew pew)

EPIC

The presentation of the game is stellar!
To me the evented menu, the movie cutscene that reveals the title and in general the amount of care and personalization of the tileset alone is a great thing alone. The story is easy to grasp if you pay attention to the details scattered through the house, so the ending wasn't a suprise for me, but not in a bad sense: it was rewarding to see I was right.
As for the characters, I liked building a connection with Fio (my poor boi, what did you do to him ;w;) and Crow in the bad ending was enjoyable too. Good game, I'd reccomend giving it a shot guys!

Thank you so much again for your kind words! I'm glad the game had the impact I hoped it would :D

THIS GAME WAS VERY GOOD RPG GAME DEV

SPOILERS FOR END OF GAME:

Wanted to report a bug aside from the one already mentioned.

Near the end, after the part where I read the documents in the folder, I went upstairs and when I inspected the TV, got text from Fio saying "I don't think either of us are in the mood for games". I think this is a bug, might wanna fix. For the record, I did this after playing up to the error message in the browser version and loaded a file in the downloadable one, so that might have done something.

It is a bug, thank you for reporting it!
